BMW PGA Championship 2018

Francesco Molinari won the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club on Sunday 27th May with a total score of -17, beating Rory McIlroy by two shots. On the very last hole, it looked like Rory could force a play-off but his putt was short and Molinari, after having been the runner up last year, managed to lift the trophy. Molinari only made 2 bogeys the whole competition. I have never been to a golf championship other than the BMW PGA at Wentworth and year on year it gets more exciting and inspires me to keep playing. I was able to attend the pro am day and days 1 and 4 of the championship this year. There is always such a buzz around the place and I love the pro am day where the professionals

Emotions on a golf course

I enjoy/suffer from a range of emotions on the golf course and I’ve been reading lots about the mental side of the golf game. I thought I would do a quick post on some of the main ones I feel and hopefully it will resonate with several golfers out there. Fear I continue to be a bit nervous before approaching the first tee on a golf course. Warming up before going on the course definitely helps but I still do not know exactly how I’ll play.
